Vera's story

Vera, born in 1996 and mother of 1 child in school, is a mother who would do anything to give her family happiness and see her child graduate from school. She has endured the challenges she faces in life for the success of her family.

She has put hours of hard work and dedication toward her business, where she sells sugar, milk, flour and other items. Vera has had 4 years of business experience, and because of this she is not facing any problem with her business.

In order to always have quality goods she applies for a loan with BRAC Liberia, a KIVA field partner. The loan will be used to buy more sugar, milk, flour and other items. The income Vera makes from selling will be used to meet the basic needs of her household.

Her dream is to increase her business and become a big business woman. She says thanks and appreciation to Brac and Kiva community for their support.
