Bakary's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy communications credits and 10 boxes of powdered OMO laundry soap, and save to take care of his family.

Bakary's story

Bakary is the father of three children, two of whom go to school. He is a trader and has opened a store selling miscellaneous items and has incorporated the sale of communication credits. The store is in a suburb of the capital and he has managed it for more than five years.

Bakary is in his seventh loan cycle with the YIKRI IMF. He is repaying his loans well and has repaid his second Kiva loan without difficulty. He is requesting another loan to buy communications credits and 10 boxes of powdered OMO laundry soap in order to satisfy the needs of his customers. He wants to use the profits to reinvest in his business and save to take care of his family.

Lastly, Bakary thanks YIKRI and its partners for the support given to unbankable entrepreneurs. He invites everyone to protect themselves from the COVID-19 virus.
