Rachel's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy bags of rice, biscuits, noodles and sugar for her general store business.

Rachel's story

Rachel is a 50-year-old woman who is married with five children and they live in a community in Honiara, the capital of Solomon Islands.

She owns and operates a small general store business selling rice, noodles, canned foods and biscuits in her community to earn a living. She has been in this business for five years.

Rachel has requested a loan to pay for additional bags of rice, biscuits, noodles and sugar to increase her stocks and assist her in running her business.

She plans to use her profits to meet her family's weekly expenses and improve her business.

She joined SPBD in 2015 to gain access to financial services for her business.
