Johany's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy fertilisers, herbicides, fungicides, insecticides and other items.

Johany's story

Johany is 31 years old and married. She is a small producer of staple grains, coffee and cattle. Her first beginnings in agriculture were when she was a child and she worked closely with her father on the family farm. She was able to study and did her university degree in Business Administration. She worked hard with her father and this is why she directly earns a living through agriculture.

She inherited nine and a half acres of land from her father thirteen years ago, which she currently works on and is where she grows five acres of beans and two of corn. She is asking for a loan from Fundenuse with Kiva to buy farming supplies to grow beans. The loan will support her in using the best practices when growing corn, applying at the appropriate moments what the crop needs, caring for plants and agronomic operations. Her future plans are to buy more land.
