Priscilla's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped a woman owned minority business recover from Covid 19 shutdown.

Priscilla's story

I am a first-generation US-born daughter of my Fijian Indian Parents. They came to the US in the 1970s for better opportunities. They always taught me to work hard and stay humble. I learned about the transportation business from my dad, who was working for all kinds of different companies driving. I was laid off from my job when the 2008 recession happened and could not afford my mortgage. My dad told me to be my own boss. So I decided to open my own Limousine business. I used my skills from my advertising classes and started promoting my business. Little by little I gained clientele. My husband and I are now working really hard to keep our business running. With a little more support we can keep up with demands and give back to our community by creating more jobs for drivers that need it as well.
