Aileen's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase additional stock of underwear and cosmetics for sale.

Aileen's story

Aileen is a 40-year-old businesswoman from Cuyapo, Nueva Ecija. She is happily married to Antonio, an overseas Filipino worker, and they are blessed with two children.

Aileen has been engaged for almost six years in the retailing and wholesaling of clothes, underwear, make-up etc. to make a living. Her husband works abroad as a migrant worker to add to their income. They earn 20,000 PHP per month. Aileen has been a good client of Alalay sa Kaunlaran Inc. (ASKI) for about four years. Her recent loan helped her to increase her income.

Aileen has been granted a loan of 15,000 PHP under the business loan program of ASKI. She will use the loan proceeds to purchase additional stock of underwear and cosmetics to resell.

One of Aileen's greatest dreams is to have a general merchandise store. She hopes that, with the help of ASKI and Kiva lenders, her family will have a better standard of living.
