219 Tambo Quemado Ii Group's story

The “Tambo Quemado II” communal bank, as part of the Patacamaya agency, is made up of eight members who are friends and is directed by a board of directors where Cesaría is the president.

The loan requested will benefit small micro-entrepreneurs where Cesaría is a member. Currently she has a business selling traditional food (Charquekan [stew dish]). She discloses that she learned this business through her mother five years ago.

The loan requested will be to increase the capital and for the purchase of mote, chuño [dried potato], and llama meat that she will acquire from the wholesalers of the City of El Alto. After preparing it, she will sell the product at her stall.

This form of work allows her to generate resources to support her family financially. She is single and has no children. Her aspirations are to own a car and become a professional.
