Eunice's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more cereals so that she can resell and make more income to support her family during this tough global economic recession.

Eunice's story

Eunice is a mother of one child who lives a life with no limits. She is 43-years old and lives in Vihiga, a town whose surroundings have vast agricultural potential with numerous small farms and also vast agricultural enterprises.

Eunice has been supporting her family through mixed farming for the past three years. Apart from farming, she is also a cereals trader.

Eunice is seeking this loan to buy more cereals so that she can resell and make more income to support her family during this tough global economic recession.

Unlike banks and other local money lenders who operate mainly in urban centres, Juhudi Kilimo (a Kiva field partner) has extended its operations to the most remote areas of Kenya, creating opportunities to different people to access loans.

Eunice hopes that kiva lenders will respond positively to her loan request.
