Pa Khoang 42 Group's story

Ms. Ut, 29 years old, is a Khmu ethnic woman who is married and has two daughters: the oldest daughter is in 4th grade, the youngest daughter is in kindergarten. Her family lives in a small house on stilts in a poor village in Dien Bien province, where agriculture is the main income activity.

She and her husband make a living by farming. In addition, she raises chickens for sale to create more income for the family. Although she works very hard, her family situation is still very difficult. Therefore, she always strives to escape poverty.

When she found out about the Anh Chi Em program, she decided to get a loan to invest in buying new chicken breeds, expanding her husbandry model, and improving her family economy. She hopes that, with her little experience together with technical support from the Anh Chi Em program staff, the chicken raising model will develop and be profitable so that she can afford to send her children to school.
