Las Emprendedoras Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy large quantities of fabric, thread, elastic and other products for her seamstress business.

Las Emprendedoras Group's story

The group called Las Emprededoras was formed by the coming together of female co-workers and neighbors in the area. It is a relatively new committee where everyone has the desire for self-improvement and to give their loved ones a better quality of life.

One member is Ms. Petrona who makes her living as a seamstress. She says that her work, although modest, has enabled her to provide for her family and give them a decent life without suffering the need she suffered. Her goal is to be able to keep working and thus manage to give her loved ones a decent life.

She is requesting this loan to buy large quantities of fabric, thread, elastic and other products so she can continue making clothing as she has been.

Note: Only one person appears in the photo but this is a group loan. It was not possible to take a group photo to avoid a large gathering of people due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
