Amanecer Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy supplies to make cakes to sell.

Amanecer Group's story

This communal bank is called "Amanecer." The members are united and cooperative with each other. Each member has a goal to grow, not only financially, but also as a person, so that they can get ahead. The members of this group are grateful for the opportunity that the Fundacion Paraguaya is providing them to grow and get ahead.

Liliana, one of the members of this group, has a business selling cakes. She makes them herself, and later goes from place to place to sell them. She is a self-sacrificing person who starts her work each day very early in the morning and later goes out to sell.

Liliana is requesting a loan to buy the ingredients she uses to make her cakes, such as eggs, butter, sugar, sweets, milk, and other products. Liliana is pleased with this opportunity to unite with her group so that she can continue to work to help her family.

Note: In the photo you see only one person, but this is a group loan. It was not possible to take a group photo due to the need to avoid putting people in close proximity because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
