La Virginia Group's story

The group "La Virginia" was formed from a union of friends and neighbors in the city of Caaguazú who search for a way to be able to improve their quality of life and that of their loved ones. The women's committee is in its first program cycle and is also part of a poverty, and the women are also part of a poverty-elimination program.

Petrona is one of the women who makes a living selling clothes that she makes herself. She is very good at what she does; it's for this reason that things have gone well for her, and that she already has a customer base. She wants to continue improving, so she decided to join the committee.

She requests this loan in order to buy cloth in bulk so that she can continue making clothes as she does.

Observation: In the photo, only one person is shown, but this is a group loan. It was not possible to take a group photo in order to avoid group gatherings during COVID-19.
