Mujeres Unidas Al Progreso Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy ingredients such as vegetables, meat, canned goods, chicken, ham etc.

Mujeres Unidas Al Progreso Group's story

The group is in its second cycle of the Women's Committee program and is also participating in the Elimination of Poverty program in which all the women work for a better standard of living for their loved ones so they don't lack the necessities of life.

Sra. Lilian is a member of the group. She earns her living selling food. Her business is modest, but it has allowed her to provide her family with a dignified life without needs. Lilian is an enterprising woman who has managed to get ahead through much effort. Today she is seeking to continue doing this as she is the provider in her household and family.

Lilian is pleased to have this opportunity which will unite the group and be a great help to the women. She is seeking a loan to buy ingredients for the food she makes: vegetables, meat, canned goods, chicken, ham etc.

Note: Only one person appears in the photo although this is a group loan. It wasn't possible to take a group photo because of the Covid-19 restrictions on groups gathering together.
