La Esperanza Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy feed for her animals, seeds, and fertilizer for her garden.

La Esperanza Group's story

The committee called La Esperanza [Hope] is an old communal banking group. They are in their sixth loan cycle with 18 groups members, where each member fights to offer a better quality of life to loved ones.

One the the group members is Salvadora. She raises and sells animals like piglets and chickens, and she does this at her own home. In addition, she has a garden. She is a very entrepreneurial and good-looking woman who is thankful to be part of the foundation. The credit that she receives helps offer better opportunities for her business.

She is asking for a loan in order to buy feed for her animals, seeds, and fertilizer for her garden. In this way she will be able to continue with her work as she has been doing.

Observation: In the photograph there is only one person, but this is a group loan. It was not possible to take a group picture in order to avoid the agglomeration of people during the COVID-19 pandemic.
