Marling Teresa's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to provide maintenance to her vegetables of lettuce and beets, to purchase agricultural supplies, and pay the necessary labor costs.

Marling Teresa's story

Marlíng divides her time between being a mother and a vegetable producer. She began this business since her father was a farmer. She and her siblings gradually learned the trade. She began working 1/4 of a parcel of vegetables. Currently she has come to plant up to 2 parcels of vegetables alone and she has the unconditional support of her sibling.

She asked for this loan from Kiva and MiCrédito to provide maintenance to her vegetables of lettuce and beets, to purchase agricultural supplies, and pay the necessary labor costs to provide adequate management.

In the coming years, the idea is to be able to expand the current asset to be able to dedicate more area to planting vegetables.
