Giovanna Andrea's story
Giovanna Andrea is a 20-year-old micro-entrepreneur who lives in the town of Galapa, Colombia. She has a business selling miscellaneous retail products. She has more than two years of experience in the field and the activity is functioning. Her business has grown thanks to the capital that her mother gave her for buying merchandise in order to supply the business. Little by little she has moved forward and with a good organization they have been able to get a nice variety. Her customers include people who stop by in person, connections via social networks, and people who are referred. Due to the global pandemic of COVID-19, her work level diminished because of concerns about biosecurity and thus her cash flow decreased drastically. For this reason she consulted with Programa Atlántico Responde [The Atlantic Program Reponds] with the aim of asking for her first Kiva loan from the Fundación Santo Domingo. The aim is to invest in the purchase of paper products, pajamas, gift bags, and other items. Support her in this loan for her business.
