Tembea Na Yesu Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to stock up with five bales of used shoes to boost her initial capital.

Tembea Na Yesu Group's story

Antoinette is a customer of IMF Hekima and president of the Tembea Na Yesu business group. She is 36 years old, married and mother to seven children, six of whom are at school, while the seventh is a baby. Her partner is a teacher.

She sells used shoes and began this business 12 years ago with initial capital received from her biological mother. Later on she joined the Hekima program to support her business, which she has built up progressively over this period of time.

With this new loan she is going to stock up with five bales of used shoes, which will boost her initial capital. The challenge in her business is the lack of customers.

She would like her children to continue studying. Finally she would like to thank Hekima and its partners for the support they provide to business owners who do not have access to bank funding in the context of the global Covid-19 crisis. As a result of this crisis, the photo is of the group leader only.
