Samnang's story

Samnang, aged 38, lives with her family in the area of Preah Netr Preah district, Banteay Meanchey province. She and her husband help each other to earn to live by having the occupation as sellers.

Samnang and her husband travel around their village to collect and purchase scraps from other villagers and bring them to sell to local traders. With her work, she can earn approximately only USD 8 per day to expense on her family's daily needs.

Due to a shortage of finance, she has applied for a loan of KHR 7,000,000 to increase her current business of selling scraps. With this loan support, she will have enough fund to add to her capital for purchasing scraps from villagers and selling them to traders for recycling. She could earn additional income to pay her children's education fees.

She sends thanks to all kind lenders for donating their funds to help her family and improving her family members' living conditions.
