Akbari's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy horses to raise and resale.

Akbari's story

This wonderful woman's name is Akbari. She is 65 years old and a widow. She has been taking care of two daughters and two grandchildren. Her daughters are presently abroad as migrant workers. Akbari has received secondary education. She lives in the Alai district, which is a mountain area suitable for agricultural work. She has been a farmer for some 30 years.

Thanks to Akbari's hard work, at present she has four cows and two horses on her farm. In order to develop her business further, Akbari has reached out to the Bai Tushum Bank for a loan in the amount of 200,000 som (KGS) to buy horses so as to increase her revenue from raising and selling livestock. Akbari plans to invest the revenues from her loan in a further expansion of her farm.
