Jeanine's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase more inventory for her shop.

Jeanine's story

Jeanine is an entrepreneur who started her general store in 2015. The business is located in the host community of the Mahama refugee camp in Rwanda. Jeanine's business sells home utilities and foodstuffs, and also provides wholesale beverages to different grocery stores and restaurants in the community.

Jeanine is married and a mother of two children. The business has helped her facilitate most of the financial needs of her children. Jeanine is passionate to grow her business even further and decided to attend the AEC/Inkomoko training, where she acquired skills like bookkeeping. This has helped her create a clear picture of the business performance.

A loan to Jeanine will help her introduce new products that are frequently requested by her customers. She wants to keep a good reputation in the community and dreams of having multiple stores around the district.
