Emelda's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy hog feed and stock for the store, such as edible oil, condiments, canned goods and toiletries.

Emelda's story

For almost seven years now, Emelda has raised hogs to earn a living. She is a married woman and has four children, two of whom are still attending school. In addition to this she also runs a basic goods shop with commodities ranging from noodles, canned goods, edible oil, powdered milk, and condiments to soft drinks.

She is asking for a loan to secure funds to boost earnings. This will be to keep her store full of stock and could attract more buyers to come. Thus, her earnings will start to improve and enable her to provide her family with nutritious diets and continue sending them to school.

A loan from CEVI will be used to buy hog feed and stock for the store such as edible oil, condiments, canned goods and toiletries.

She is hoping that someday, she will become a successful entrepreneur and will be able to support the needs of her children as well.
