Nhyira Nka Boafo Group's story

This is Nhyira Nka Boafo (meaning "blessed be the helper") Group which will begin another loan cycle with Kiva's partner, ID Ghana, located in the province of Kasoa. The Group is made up of 7 members and is led by Lailatu.

The loan that ID Ghana offers will benefit a range of businesses, including the one that Lailatu's owns. Currently, she has a business selling groceries, food stuffs and other kitchen equipment at the local market.

The loan will be used to purchase more food stuffs, groceries and kitchen equipment such as cool-pot, pots, soft drinks, biscuits, and tomatoes to meet the demands of customers.

Lailatu also employs youth to help them finance their education by selling groceries. This work allows her to support her family financially, too. She is married and has three children who are schooling.
