Esperanza Monserrate's story

Esperanza Monserrate is 53-years old. She's in a common-law union. She has 3 children all of the age of majority independent. Her partner sells clothing. They live in their own house. They live in Picoazá, a city known for its commerce and religious festivities, production of green leafy vegetables, legumes and tropical fruit, and is a source of progress as it's the main informal commercial centre of Manabí.

Esperanza Monserrate along with her husband sell various clothing articles for men, women and children. They sell form home and go out to sell. He sells in various areas and she sells from home. They sell on credit and collect every week.

During this global crisis, Esperanza has been in financial difficulty as her clients weren't able to pay due to losing their jobs or dying. At the beginning, things were going very badly because she couldn't make sales, but now, little by little, she's reactivating her business, in order to continue generating income.

She is requesting a loan to buy shirts, pants, shorts, t-shirts, etc. Her dream is to have a place to sell from and that her family stays healthy.
