Bertha Delmira's story

Bertha Delmira is single, has no children and lives in her own house with her niece. They live in Picoazá, a city known for its commerce and religious festivities, production of green leafy vegetables, legumes and tropical fruits, and it is the source of progress and main informal commercial centre of Manabí.

Due to her inability to walk, Bertha Delmira sells Yanbal, Avon and Belcorp catalog products, such as beauty products, cosmetics, perfume, accessories for women (including the brands Ibel, Cyzone, Esika) and clothing for women. She works every day. She has no schedule. Her sister helps her. She sells on credit and collects every 8 days.

During the global health crisis, she's had financial difficulties. Her clients weren't able to pay because they've lost their jobs, and some have died. At the beginning of the health crisis, Bertha had a really hard time not being able to sell product, but now, little by little, she's reactivating her business in order to generate income.

She is requesting a loan to buy makeup, perfume, jewelry, shirts, dresses, shorts, etc. Her dream includes having a stall with all kinds of merchandise and that her family stays healthy.
