A loan helped to buy various parts for appliances.

Diego Nery's story

Diego Nery is single and has no children. He lives in his parents' house. They live in Portoviejo, a city very impacted by the 16 April 2016 earthquake and now by the Covid-19 pandemic. The city is rich in the production of vegetables, legumes, and tropical fruit for domestic consumption.

Diego Nery and his family work selling appliance parts. They have a small store to sell spare parts for various makes and models of refrigerator, stove, blender, and air conditioner. He works sales all day Monday through Friday and a half-day on Sunday, and he also makes home deliveries.

It was very bad for him at the beginning of the health crisis because he wasn't able to make sales, but now he's reactivating little by little with home delivery of parts, so he's able to continue to earn his income. In his family, his grandfather, father, and a brother who's disabled got sick from Covid-19, but they're all recuperating now little by little.

With this new loan he's going to buy various parts for appliances.

His dream is to have his own store and to stay very healthy.
