Neve Jeanette's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped is to buy bread, milk and other ingredients to prepare the foods and drinks she sells.

Neve Jeanette's story

Neve Jeanette is 56 years old and married. Her children are now grown. Her husband is a security guard. They live in the town of Jipijapa, known as the Sultan of Coffee. It has been greatly affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Neve is a woman who seeks a way to make a living in order to help her husband with the household expenses; more so now, in this difficult situation. She works selling morocho (a hot drink made from dried cracked hominy corn, milk, cinnamon and raisins) and bread that her customers eat with her delicious drink.

At the beginning Neve had to close her business as she couldn't go out to sell. Now she is selling again, and this is how she is helping her family move forward. This loan is to buy bread, milk and other ingredients to prepare her food.
