A loan helped to purchase fertilizer and other farm inputs.

Armando's story

Armando is a 62-year-old farmer from Quezon, Nueva Ecija. He is happily married to Marilyn and blessed with six children, who are still pursuing their studies. He has been engaged in the farming industry, planting chili peppers to earn a living for almost 46 years. They deliver that chili pepper on the market vendor around their town.

Armando has been a good-paying client of Alalay sa Kaunlaran, Inc. (ASKI) for about eight years. He has been entrusted again with a loan amounting to 30,000 PHP under the agricultural loan program of ASKI. His loan will be used to purchase fertilizer and other farm inputs for the improved growth of their crops.

Armando's dream is to uplift their lives from poverty. He hopes that with the help of ASKI and Kiva lenders, he will become successful in his agricultural business.
