Jamie's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped grow our business as we proactively reach Kent.
As a child I would give hand massages to the ladies on my mom's bowling team. My grandmother encouraged my career and passed from cancer before I graduated, and every October I donate 2 days of waxing for local cancer alliances. I knew not only did I want to make clients feel good, provide a form of counseling and confidential place to release troubles, and a relaxing space for all-I wanted to use my gifts to help my hometown as it suffers through an increase in addiction, domestic abuse, and the racial justice issues that impact my family. I am survivor of an abusive marriage (with two children) to an addict, and found Battlefield's support. For other women, Domestic Abuse Women's Network provides that. Finally, as my family has people of color in it (my sister, niece, nephews) I want to not only verbalize my support of racial equality, but show it in action. My motivation is to create a healthy thriving town, and lead the charge in revitalizing Kent, WA for my children and my family and friends.
