Amarildo's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy some goats and sell the baby goats and the raw milk to provide for the family of a member of the Egyptian vulnerable community.

Amarildo's story

Amarildo is a 23-year-old member of the vulnerable Egyptian community living in Korca city, Albania. He lives only with his wife in a small apartment. His mother, for whom he took the first loan to pay for medication expenses, is now living in Greece, so there she will be able to have proper medical care.

Amarildo used to work as a vegetable seller at the city market. But he soon realized that livestock is a much more profitable activity. So he first built a small stable, as seen in the photo, and added some sows, from which he sells the baby piglets. Meanwhile, he is thinking to add also some goats, so he will be able to sell the baby goats and the raw milk, and be able to provide a good income for his family from this activity he has chosen to do.

Amarildo thanks all Kiva lenders for the support given the first time and hopes to have your understanding also this time.
