Oretha's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy slippers to sell.

Oretha's story

Oretha is 30 years old and married with two kids. Both are schooling and live at home. Oretha attended school until 3rd grade.

Oretha sells slippers and has been running her business for more for ten years. She started her business in order to help her husband support their family. Her mother taught her how to sell, and her husband gave her money to start the business. She likes her business because it gives her quick profits, and she feels very proud of her business because it enables her to send her children to school.

Oretha is asking for a loan through BRAC Liberia, a Kiva field partner, to buy more slippers to sell to her good clients. Oretha dreams to open a shop in the future. She wishes to say thanks!
