Batlokoa Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase the ACE-1 hybrid energy system for cooking, lighting and charging in a way that is safer, cleaner and saves money.

Batlokoa Group's story

Mathabiso is a 57 year old woman who lives in a two bedroom house with seven children without access to electricity.

Mathabiso relies on family support and struggles with buying fuel and a poor income. She spends the most of her energy expenses on gas and paraffin, which costs up to 350 LSL per month. She also spends as much as 1 hour per day, gathering fuel and fulfilling other energy needs such as charging her mobile phone.

Mathabiso and the other members of the group in this village bought the ACE 1 cookstove to help them save the money they spend on a monthly basis on fuel and also help them access solar electricity for charging their mobile devices any time at no cost.

The ACE 1 clean cook-stove is biomass and solar powered. For more information on the ACE1 cook stove please visit www.africancleanenergy.com and Facebook @African Clean Energy
