Katya Estefania's story

Katya is 20 years old. She has a domestic partner and a 2 year old son. Her husband is a private employee. They live in Manta, a prosperous city which is visited by many tourists who like to enjoy its marvelous beaches, but because of the COVID-19 pandemic has less tourism.
Katya is an enterprising woman who struggles every day to support her husband with household expenses. This is why three years ago, she started a business selling bedsheets, curtains, awnings, tablecloths, among other things, offering her services to her main customers who are passers-by, neighbors and people living close to her area who can pay cash and on credit. However, due to the Covid 19 pandemic, she had to suspend her financial activity because of health matters and national government regulations. Currently, she has requested a new loan in order to increase her work capital and buy new merchandise.
She will invest this loan in buying bedsheets, curtains, awnings, among other things. Her dream is to have a store and for her business to grow.
