Paula Margarita's story

Paula Margarita is 58 years old, a single mother of 2 adult children, and they live in a house they rent. They live in the city of Bahía, which was affected by the earthquake of April 16, 2016. Currently, it is rebuilding its infrastructure and businesses, and strengthening tourism. There is a health resort, lovely beaches, and one can do all the water sports.

At the house she rents, Paula Margarita has a small retail space where she maintains her small grocery store. She works every day from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm. She sells a variety of products such as rice, detergents, meat, sausages, soft drinks, water, etc.

At first the health crisis was very bad for her since she was unable to sell but now, little by little, she is reactivating it so to be able to continue generating her income.

With this new loan, she will purchase provisions to continue stocking meat, dairy products, water, detergent, soap, etc. Her dream is to own a house and that her business continues growing.
