Fefine Hiva's story
Greetings from Fefine Hiva again. She is a 40-year-old mother to only one child and a wife to a farmer. They live at their own home in the eastern area of Tongatapu. Fefine Hiva and her husband currently run their canteen and plantation businesses. Her husband takes care of their plantation while Fefine Hiva takes care of their canteen. She prepares light lunch and soft drinks, and sells it out from her own food stall at the high school. For their plantation, they sometimes hire men to help her husband in harvesting and also sowing. They grow diverse crops at the plantation. Fefine Hiva also helps her husband in selling their crops at the local market. These businesses are the main source of income for their family. She is hoping to use her loan money to purchase more groceries for her canteen and also to pay for the exportation of their crops container to be sent overseas.
