A loan helped to buy chickens.

Jeniffer Lisset's story

Jeniffer Lisset, 26, is in a common-law relationship and has three minor children. Her partner's a merchant. They live in Jipijapa Canton, which is known by the name of "The Sultan of Coffee" and has been very impacted by Covid-19.

She's a persevering woman who with her partner looks for ways to carry on despite how difficult everything is because of the pandemic. They work selling chickens, whether whole or by the pound. They buy the young animals at a nearby farm and then butcher and sell them outside their house or to other merchants as well.

This situation has been very hard for them because they sold almost nothing due to the fear. They're selling more now, but following the best safety methods.

This loan is to buy chickens.
