Zapatito Veloz Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase livestock.

Zapatito Veloz Group's story

The community bank Zapatito Veloz is made up of eight members. Juana Lidia is the president and founder of her community group. She has two daughters and is married.

She currently runs a business that sells sheep wool. She has told us that she used to sell shoes door-to-door, but she since has seen the need to change her economic activity since her income wasn't enough to raise her daughters and support her spouse.

The loan for which she is applying will be used to purchase livestock so she can sell their wool. These months are when her products are in highest demand.

She has been happy with the previous loans she has been awarded from Pro Mujer IFD since she now has the money to invest in her business.
