Mokoane Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase the ACE-1 hybrid energy system for cooking, lighting and charging in a way that is safer, cleaner and saves money.

Mokoane Group's story

Sehloho is a 60 year old man who lives in a multi bedroom house, without access to electricity, by himself. Sehloho relies on commercial farming and struggles with buying multiple fuel and incompetent income. He spends the most amount of his energy expenses on paraffin, which costs up to LSL 50 per month. He also spends as much as 1 hour per day, gathering fuel and fulfilling other energy needs like phone charging. Sehloho and the other members of the group in this village each bought the ACE 1 cookstove to help them save the money they spend every month on fuel and also help them access solar electricity for charging their mobile devices any time for free. The ACE 1 clean cook-stove is biomass and solar powered. For more information on the ACE1 cook stove please visit www.africancleanenergy.com and Facebook @African Clean Energy
