Djamilla's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase more inventory for her shop.

Djamilla's story

Djamilla is an entrepreneur that started a general store in 2011. The business is located in the host community of the Mahama refugee camp in Rwanda. The business provides home utilities and clothes. In the establishment of the camp, Djamilla decided to start selling mattresses at cheap prices to facilitate refugees who had just joined the camp.

Djamilla is also a wife and a mother of five children. The business has helped her facilitate most of the financial needs of her children. Djamilla is passionate to grow her business even further and decided to attend the AEC/Inkomoko training, where she acquired skills like bookkeeping. This has helped her have a clear picture of the business performance.

A loan to Djamilla will help her introduce new products that are frequently requested by her customers. She wants to keep a good reputation in the community. Djamilla's dream is to have multiple stores around the district.
