A loan helped to buy more sorghum and beans.

Twitezimbere Cb Group's story

Felicite is 46 years old and married with seven children aged between 2 and 15 years. For the past five years she has been selling foodstuffs.

Felicite is the leader of the group named "Twitezimbere Cb", which in English means “let's develop ourselves”. Group members sell different items and own a variety of businesses. Felicite will use her loan to buy more sorghum and beans to meet customer demand. With the profits from her sales she will put away some savings and pay school fees for her children.

Due to the global pandemic, Urwego was not able to photograph all the members but was able to get one group representative for the photo.
