Batyina's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase a heifer to increase her headcount of cattle and sales of organic milk.

Batyina's story

Batyina is 60 years old, unmarried, and has 2 children. She has a higher education, and she works as a teacher in the local school. By nature she is hardworking, ambitious, and enterprising. She knows the technology of running an agricultural business well and is able to use funds appropriately.

As an additional source of income for her family she has been working with livestock since 1990. Thanks to her hard work and responsible approach to the business, she was able to develop her farm to have 2 cows and 20 sheep. She has 0.45 hectares of irrigated land where she grows alfalfa. In order to further develop her farm, she applied to the bank "Bai-Tushum" for a loan in the amount of 60,000 som (KGS) to buy heifers, with the goal of increasing her sales of organic milk and income from raising cattle. She plans to invest the proceeds from the loan into the further development of her farm.
