Tuhimizane Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to stock up on secondhand shoes.

Tuhimizane Group's story

Ms. Dorcas is a client of the microfinance institution Hekima and presides over the village group named “TUHIMIZANE”. She is married, 37 years old, and the mother of six children of whom five are in school (the youngest is not). Her partner is a driver.

A vendor of secondhand shoes, she started this enterprise thirteen years ago with startup funds from her husband. Later on, she got involved in the Hekima program for supporting her enterprise and has since been progressing in it.

With this new loan, she is going to stock up on used shoes to bolster her initial capital. The challenge in her business has to do with a shortage of merchandise.

She wishes to grow her enterprise to become a wholesaler. So, she would like to thank Hekima and its partners for supporting business owners lacking cash during this global crisis tied to Covid-19. The photo shows only the group leader because of Covid-19.
