Laleine's story

Laleine is a responsible resident of Cabiao, Nueva Ecija. She is 30 years old, a single mother, and blessed with two children. She has been engaged in managing a sari-sari (general) store, selling chips, breads, canned goods, noodles, detergent, etc., for almost four years now. She has been a good borrower client of Alalay sa Kaunlaran (ASKI) Inc., for more than one year.

Laleine has been entrusted again with a loan, amounting to PHP 40,000, under the business loan program of ASKI. Her loan will be used to buy additional items to sell, such as candies, rice, condiments, soaps, cigarettes, etc., to generate more income to sustain the needs of her family.

Her dream is for her family to be financially stable. She believes that with the help of ASKI and Kiva lenders, she will be successful in life.
