Luka's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to finance his second academic year so he can get a bachelor's degree.

Luka's story

Luka is 20 years old and lives in the village Kakhati with his father, sister, and brother. He has decided to apply for a student loan because he is enrolled in the local state university but does not have the funds to pay for his second academic year.

Student loans are a joint project of Kiva and field partner Credo Bank, and give Georgian students the chance to get an education. Luka studies in the international transportation management faculty and wants to get a top-quality education.

Luka hopes that he will have a good wage after graduating with a bachelor's degree so that he can create financial stability for his family.
