Frankella's story

Greetings from Sierra Leone! This is 40-year-old Frankella from Wilberforce branch. She is married with three children between the ages of 6 and 20 years old and all three of them are attending school.

Frankella runs a retail business and has a restaurant and bar selling food, drinks, water and other assorted items. She has been in this business for five years. Her other source of income comes from her husband’s business. Her main challenge is slow sales sometimes during this COVID 19 time.

She requested this loan through BRAC Sierra Leone to purchase foodstuff, drinks, water, rice, sugar, milk, chicken, fish, sausage and other assorted items to increase her business. Frankella says that the extra income from this loan will help to improve her business and take care of her family. In the future, she would like to establish on a larger scale. She says thanks to BRAC and Kiva for their support.
