Laun's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy bananas, potatoes, and powder to make food to sell.

Laun's story

Laun is 35 years old and the married woman and mother of four children. She sells fried potatoes and bananas. Her husband is a worker. She has been running this business for 6 years.

Laun has applied for a 4,000,000 KHR loan through Kiva's field partner Chamroeun to buy bananas, potatoes and powder to make food to sell. Using the loan, she will be able to earn more income to continue her business, as well as support her family's standard of living. She hopes that she can grow her business, renovate her home, and send her children to school.

Her main challenges are an increasing number of competitors and the rainy season.
