Lejanie's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase more snack foods, oil, rice, canned goods, beverages, and soap to sell and increase her business.

Lejanie's story

Meet 42-year-old Lejanie from San Mateo. She is married and has two children. Lejanie is a hardworking businesswoman who sells oil, rice, onions, canned goods, and soap. She works Monday through Saturday, eight hours daily. She learned how to sell by herself. She has had this business for five years, and has no problems with her sales.

Lejanie requested this loan from ASKI, a Kiva field partner, to purchase more products to sell and increase her sales. She likes her business because it allows her to send her children to school.

In the future, she wants to build her house and send her children to college. Lejanie says thanks and gives appreciation to the lenders for their support.
