Maricel's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy additional products to sell such as canned goods, noodles, condiments, soft drinks, etc.

Maricel's story

Maricel is a good resident of Zaragoza, Nueva Ecija. She is 43 years old, happily married to Reynaldo, a farmer, and blessed with four children.

Maricel has been engaged in a sari-sari business, selling chips, candies, breads, etc. for almost 17 years. She has been a well-paying client of Alalay sa Kaunlaran (ASKI) Inc. for about five years.

Once more, she has been granted a loan amounting to 50,000 PHP under the business loan program of ASKI. Her loan will be used to buy additional products to sell like canned goods, noodles, condiments, soft drinks, etc., which will help her to gain more income to support her family's daily needs. She believes that with the help of ASKI and Kiva lenders, her sari-sari store will turn into a grocery store.
