Anthony's story

I grew up in the inner city of New Orleans, LA in the 80s and 90s. Many of my peers had no idea about the value, dignity and fulfillment found in becoming a homeowner and giving back by helping others learn to do the same. After Hurricane Katrina in 2005, we sold our old house dirt cheap to an investor. That house is now worth nearly 300% of what we sold it for! We had no idea what we had until it was gone. Because of this and seeing firsthand the devastating effects of the cycle of poverty, I became interested in real estate and the potential it has for helping to lift people out of the suffocating stagnation of economic disadvantage. As a firm believer in the concept of Conscious Capitalism, as my business grows, I want to reach into the community to teach people in neighborhoods just like the one I grew up in how to save, budget, manage credit, navigate through a home purchase, and even get involved in real estate themselves. I want to provide for my family and help others do the same for theirs.
