Angelica's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy clothing, shoes, and jewelry for her inventory.

Angelica's story

Angelica is 46 years old and is a single mother to 6 children, 5 of whom are adults and one of whom is 12 years old and still attending school. They live in a rented house in Portoviejo, which was severely affected by an earthquake in April 2016 and is now suffering from the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic. Their city is known for producing vegetables, legumes, and tropical fruits.

Angelica makes a living by selling various products via motorbike, including used cellphones, jewelry, clothing, and shoes. The health crisis was initally so serious that she had to close her business, but she is now reopening slowly but surely so that she can earn an income. With this new loan, she will buy clothing, shoes, and jewelry to bolster her inventory. Her deram is to have more products to keep her business open and that her family will stay in good health.
