Maribel's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase clothing fabrics and raw materials to produce clothing, as well as to pay maintenance for the machines.

Maribel's story

Thank you for supporting Mrs. Maribel in her previous loan which she invested in the payment of her son's systems engineering semester, she sends a message to the funders: “Thanks to you my son was able to continue studying, I hope to continue counting on your Valuable help". Maribel states that her business idea was born by chance, since she made and worked for companies, but they paid very little, she decided to retire and invest in her independent business. First, she started with her friends; they asked her for favors of making clothes. Then, she saw the business opportunity and began to work continuously. In her quest to mitigate the impact of the COVID 19 pandemic and boost its economic reactivation, she joined the "Barranquilla Responds" program to request another credit through the Santo Domingo Foundation, resources that will be invested in the purchase of fabrics for clothing, more raw material to make and perform maintenance on the machines she has.
